Spammers and Related Problems

Let's use this thread to track all spamming related problems.

The spammers are finding newer ways to cause nuisance.

I need to find a solution to these guys sending private messages. For the time being I've changed the settings of the forum so that every new user would need to be approved by the admin before they can post anything.

Another solution to the SPAM by PM thing could be that each user has the ability to block any sender from sending him/her a PM just like we can block senders in our email inboxes.

The new member "TerryPhillipz" is the latest spammer trying to get people to infect their computers with a trojan by clicking on a link in a private message sent via the forum's message system.
